97 years after that April 15, 1912, the fatal adventure of the Titanic is still present in the minds of the whole world, and is that along the history there have been moments that have supposed one earlier and one later, but not only in what to the world affects an event, but in what to our lives supposes your knowledge.
This is the case of the Titanic and of my life, it was very small when they told me that history that seemed exciting to me, and since then I suffer a personal harnessing to him, an addiction that invites me to wait with longing for the commemoration of the first centenary of your subsidence in 3 years. Moment in which we will know more data about the "unsinkable one"
There are few things that have come out concerning the Titanic, at least in an accurate way, but undoubtedly the first image that occupies our minds on having spoken about your decoration, it is the majestic imperial stairs that was presiding at the area of the first class of the ship. A decoration that was summing up to the perfection the sensation that tried to be transmitted. Luxury, glamor, sophistication, level, power, nobility …
It was an impressive stairs of wood of oak, of double curve, with a rail luxuriously decorated in gold, and finished off by a crystal dome for which it was inputting the natural light. The angel that was decorating the stairs, was rescued of the bottom of the sea in one of the first immersions. 
It is necessary to emphasize the clock placed in the first landing of the stairs. Placed on a wooden panel and flanked by the sizes of the Honor and of the Glory, simulating to crown the weather. Paradoxically it was precisely this weather so protected what it was missing that fatidical night of April.

The decoration of the Titanic was inspired in the luxurious embellishment of the Palace of Versailles. With furniture of style Luis XV, an excessive use of the entelado and carpeting, and an infinite presence of the frame and the frame.
Almost all the walls were empaneladas with a completely carved rich wood. A resource much used in decoration of seaworthy inspiration. In the area of the cabins, the wood was seeming white and with golden applications.

Every April 15 it deserves a memory to those who enjoyed that first trip, to those who survived him and to those who perished. A memory to those who designed the construction of the ship and to those who carried out it.
A memory to those who created a new style of decoration, the “style Titanic”. To the captain, to the crew … to each and everyone of the persons who were his part, because although many people never knew it, they wrote a page of the world history.
